Chapter Book
Here is my first chapter book that I made when I was around 9. I edited my book a little bit so it makes sense for you when you read it. I hope you enjoy!
Chapter Two
On day two, Lulu and Patch were doing some very exciting stuff, unlike me. Patch was going fishing, and Lulu was taking her toy ponies to the park, while I had to ride my bike for the first time without any training wheels. So while Patch and Lulu were doing something fun, dad was desperate for me to go on a bike ride.
To avoid the bike ride, I said to dad, "if I were to have a bike ride, I have to start with eating", and with that he cut me a fruit salad and by the time I finished eating, Lulu and Patch were already home. I said to dad that I need to meet up with my friend Bianca. When I met Bianca, she saw my bike and asked if I wanted to go on a bike ride with her. I shook my head lying to her about the wheels and how they were broken, she was a little sad and I felt ashamed. We kept chatting on and on until night.
When I got home, I ate dinner (even though I was stuffed from the salad) and got ready for a new day.
Chapter 4
In the morning on day four, I quickly got my togs and ran to meet Bianca at the water park. I only had to wait a few minutes until Bianca arrived.When Bianca arrived, we went to the bathroom/toilet to get our togs on.
We spent 12 hours (half a day) at the waterpark. In the 12 hours we: went splashing, diving and last but not least we had fun. We had a splashing sensational fun time. For the other half of the day I had fish and chips with Bianca, then said bye to her and played some games with my family, then had some fruit.
Eating the fruit, having family time, and eating lunch together, that took 8 hours. So we had a few more minutes left and in that time me, Lulu and Patch went on YouTube, then went to sleep. And we finished that wonderful and exciting day.
Chapter One
Hi, I am Jacob Jaim and I will tell you a short story about my adventure. So it starts off when Lulu was in the car and she kept asking dad, "are we nearly nearly there yet?" It was quite annoying because I was trying to sleep.
When we finally got out of the car (which felt like forever) we had a nice dinner at Caries Cafe, and it was delicious! I had chicken nuggets with special hot chocolate for dessert. When we got in the car again to find a new house to live in, I was not that excited.
At the new house, my brother Patch, my sister Lulu and I were all very desperate to do a wee, but there was only one toilet so obviously Lulu went first followed by Patch who also did a poo, and I went last.
When that was finished, we all got ready for bed and that was it for day one.
Chapter 3
On the third day my dad woke me up in the morning and said, "Get ready for your bike ride Jacob". I responded with, "I don't wanna go without training wheels!!" Patch came in and laughed and laughed and laughed. "What's so funny?" I said. "Your such a baby Henry" Patch replied. "Am Not". "Are too". "Am not". "Are too". Mum rushed in and stopped our conversation. "Henry are you ready for your bike ride?" "I am meeting up with Bianca so that is a NO!"
"I am leaving to have breakfast at Bianca's place, toodles." Once I finally got there, I had some cookies and cream chocolate. After that we ate some chips and that was the breakfast. I asked Bianca if she always had that for breakfast, but she shook her head saying it was only when she had guests around.
"Jacob, wanna go for a bike ride? Are your wheels fixed yet?" "Well they are still broken and will be fixed in a few days." Bianca nodded asking if I wanted to go to the waterpark tomorrow. "Sure" I said as Bianca replied "With just us, or are Lulu and Patch coming?" "They are too busy" I said. "With what?" "Fishing and playing." "Okay then."
"Meet you tomorrow at the water park and goodnight." The end of day three.
Chapter 5
After all that fun we had yesterday, my dad thought that I needed a break. But I didn't know what dad meant. Then he grinned at me. I was like "Oh no!" I tried to come up with an excuse or make him forget about it but nothing worked. Then finally Patch said "Dad, wanna go fishing with me?" He said no and then walked off. I was so glad he went. "Thanks Patch".
I had some pancakes for breakfast (with the topping maple syrup) then I bumped into Patch. Patch said to me, "Why don't you want to go on a bike ride?" My answer was "Because I don't". Patch kept convincing me until I said yes (he actually ort of convinced me).
"Maybe later" I said. "I need to... um.. go somewhere". "Where to?" said Patch. "The park with my friend Bianca?" "Can I walk with you?" Said Patch. "NO! Definetely not! I also think that you need to mind your own buisness".
At Bianca's house we had a little chat, then it was night so we all went to bed.
Chapter 7
I have some really important news for Bianca today. I ran as fast as I could to Bianca's house, but she wasn't there. Then I walked to the water park and she still wasn't there. I looked in all the places that we have been together, but no sight of her.
I went down to the river to have a little cry, but I saw Bianca at the river already crying! I came up to her and sat next to her. "Whats wrong?" "Nothing" she said sternly. "You should really be getting home by now. I am fine". "Bye Bianca".
I told my dad at dinner everything that happened with Bianca. After dinner I was playing this game called Prodigy. It is a maths game. After that I read some books, and to fill me up I had an apple. Then I rang Bianca to see if she was okay.
Bianca didn't answer the phone. Probarbly she already knows it's me. On the last call I was going to do, she finally answered. "Hello!" she said. "Is this mum?" "Yes" I said wierdly. "What happened to your voice?" "Oh, I am sick." When I said that Bianca hung up on me.
It was almost bed time so I went to bed.
Chapter 9
Before I could even get up, Bianca rang the doorbell. I woke up and got changeed as soon as possible. I said to Bianca, "what's wrong?" "Remember what you said yesterday?" "Oh, that's what you're here for."
"So, let's just go to the park first." "Okay, it was my first time riding a bike." "Why did you lie to me?" Bianca asked. "I don't like it when you lie to me. Not you, not anyone in fact."
"Sorry", I said to her. "I didn't mean to lie to you. Why don't we have some fun?" "Great idea", replied Bianca. "You could come to my house and eat and play games." "What about tomorrow? Today I am going to feed my pet sting ray."
"Wait, you have a pet sting ray?" "Of course, haven't you seen him?" "Nope" "Oh, well would you like to come?" "No thanks, I don't like sting rays". "This sting ray has lost it's sting, sure you don't wanna come?" "No thanks".
"Later, bye!" When I came home, I quickly told everyone I was going to bed early because I couldn't wait until the next day. I also told them about Bianca coming over. I told them not to embariss me as well. I got ready for bed and soon drifted off to sleep.
Chapter 6
Today I am volinteering to go fishing with Patch. That will make me forget about the bike ride."Hey Patch" I say. "What?" He said stiffly. "I was wondering if I could go fishing with you?" "Fine but don't mess anything up". "K!" "So where are we going?" "To the water. Duh!"
Finally we are there. We needed to walk a long way until we saw a few fish. "Over there!" Said Patch. "Seriously? I'm hungry!" "Don't care". After the fishing, we finally got to eat at the fish and chips place nearby.
I went home to get a rest when dad disturbed me. Ï'm resting" I told him. Then he left and said "sorry". Finally I got a rest at last.
Lulu woke me up in a good dream and she said that Bianca's at the door waiting for us. "US!?" I screamed. "Oh, sorry I meant you" Phew.
"Hi Bianca, sorry I have been sleeping". "No wonder you took so long". "Okay, and where are we going?" I said. "To a restraunt". "Finally I am so hungry... that was delicious". "That was so delicious" Bianca said. "Bye Bianca, time for home."
Chapter 8
On the eighth day I got up and without breakfast I had a little walk around for my exersize. Then I came back home for breakfast. For breakfast I had squid. I freshly gross one.
After I had breakfast, I wanted to have a go on the bike. I told Patch, Lulu, mum and dad that I would go on a bike ride. "Woo!" they all yelled. I breather deeply and put on all my gears.
"I can do this" I said in my head. "If anyone can do it, I can". Finally I did one lap of riding, then I beat my dad in a race! I had to tell Bianca but how?
I went to Bianca's house and she said "Why are you cheering like it's your first time you've ever rode your bike?" "Because it is" I mumbled. "What!?" "Nothing!" I yelled back.
"Bye!" "Wait I know that something wrong is happening here!" "Fine, I'll tell you what it is tomorrow. Okay?" "Great, sounds good to me!"
When I went home I: brushed my teeth, had a bath and got in bed.
Chapter 10
I accidentally over slept so it wasn't ver good manners. I quickly got my clothes on, and Bianca was already at my house.
I asked dad how I long I have slept for, and he replied with, "12 hours". I then asked if he had embaressed me, and he said "not yet." "Yet!?" I yelled back at him. "I'm sorry, I meant I haven't and I won't.
"Why don't you play with your friend Bianca now?" "I will." I went up to Bianca and asked if she would like to play a game of UNO. She nodded.
After the game of UNO that she won, we played some more cool games. Then we stuffed our mouths with junk food and went to the shops to get some facinating toys and clothes. It was the best.
We really rocked that party. When the party ended, and when Bianca left, dad told me to clean up the mess. I was like come on. When all the mess finally got cleared, I got my PJ's on and went to have a shower. Lastly, I brushed my teeth and went to sleep.
Chapter 11
Okay, so this is my 11th day of the holiday. It was the best day of the week because it's the 11th day and that's my favourite number. But so far, my day hasn't been good. I went to go fishing with Patch, but somehow a shark bit my butt. So I went to the doctor. After that I went to the woods to play with Lulu and got pricked by a thorn. So I ran back home.
The reason why I wasn't playing with Bianca, was because she left. So when I walked sadly back home, I got a great surprise. Bianca, mum, dad, Patch and Lulu set up a disco party. There was lots of juice, food and lots of other fun stuff to do.
The juice we had were; apple blackcurrent, apple, and orange juice. The foods were; chips, seafood, burgers, sausage, pie, and Red Rooster food. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe they didn't forget my birthday. We kept on party-ing until midnight.
Chapter 12
This chapter is going to be different, because me, Bianca, is writing it. The next chapter will be like any other.
So, in this chapter, I am going to be pranking Henry. So I need your help to think of some ideas. Yes, that's a very good one, tape on the sink. Any more? The toilet one with cling rap? Yes, one more. Okay! Another good one, the bucket on the door. That is all the ideas I would need.
To start with, let's do the door, then the toilet, then the tap. So, I am getting a bucket but what should we stick inside it? Oh yes, we could put some slime in there. Good choice.
So, I just finished making the slime, and I'm now putting it in the bucket. I have got my ladder and putting it on the door. Finished prank one.
If you are wondering where Henry is, he is outside. I will now finish my break.
So, I am now onto my secound prank. The toilet one I will need cling rap. When I am finished, which I am, I am going to...
Henry's coming hide. Look! He is slimed! This is so funny and, NO! He didn't fall for the toilet one! I am going to talk to Henry whie he washes his hands.
"Hey Henry, what happened to you?" "I don't know but someone is..." "Ha! You just got pranked by the ultimate prankster."

The Secret Passage Way
OMG! I can't wait to tell you this! Yesterday I was in the park and I was playing hide and seek and then KAPOW! I was in a different place where there were some really cute animals. They were having a feast and I wanted to join them. So I asked and they said they wanted me to find a roast boar first so they could have it to eat at the feast. I roasted the boar and gave it to them. They thanked me and once we were finished the feast, we went to have cake for dessert and we all lived happily ever after, and that means...

The Rock n Roll Guinea
Once in a castle lived a Rock n Roll Guinea pig. It had to get ready for the Rock n Roll party tonight. She wore a pink fluffy dress, white shoes and a hat with a sunny sparkly sunnies.
AT THE PARTY
I saw ten of my friends at the party. It was Lexi's birthday party. I had so much fun there, there was even my favourite vegetables. Mmm, mmm.

The Angry Hive of Bees
Once in a far away land lived a hive of bees, an angry hive of bees. I will tell you why the bees were angry.
So, once there was a really annoying person and kept destroying the bees hive. The bees didn't mind until the person's whole family annoyed the bees.
The bees still didn't get angry but then one day there was a unicorn. The unicorn did a spell with it's horn and that spell was for the bees to get annoyed and angry.
The whole hive of bees decided to give the people and unicorn payback so they all thought of a plan. Once they thought of the plan they did it. It was actualy quite hard thinking of one. The plan was...
They would keep annoying and stinging the people until they would listen to them.
The plan ended up working anyway, and they all lived happily ever after.

The Vicious Tarantula
Hi, did I ever tell you that I am not scared of anything? I am always positive. My mum just farted. Sorry about that, it is stinky isn't it?Oh! Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, I am positive, not negative, positive. My mum is going to let me keep a vicious type of pet for the day. She said that she was going to give me the pet any secound now..."I got your pet, and you're gonna hate it!" "Actually I bet I'm going to love it" I said back to my mum. My mum put the pet in a jar, do you want me to tell you what the pet is? It's a tarantula! I don't mind what it is.

The Walk
OMG! Yesterday was the worst day ever! It all started off like this.
My dad got me a new puppy and said that we needed to give him a walk. "Fine" I said, I would do anything for the puppy. When I went to have a walk with my puppy, he made me trip over him.
When I finished my walk I ran to my dad and told him the bad news. He said that he would walk the dog tommorrow and see what happen. So like he said the next day he walked the dog but nothing happened. "You liar", he sneered at me.
"What about we both go on a walk together and see what happens." "Good idea liar" said my dad. I walked the dog and he still did the same thing, trip me. In the end my dad realised what it was.
He said to me that I walked the same way the cat was and he walked a different way. "So you walked on the side of the cat and he wanted to see the cat so he tried crossing sides making you trip".

The Fairy Floss
Once there lived a girl named Rebecca and she loved candy. Then once she went to the shop to go buy candy, something caught her eye. That was the fairy floss machine, and she could make the fairy floss any colour she wanted it to be. When she came home her mum was in the kitchen, and her dad was in the lounge room. So she rushed to her bedroom. She started to make lots and lots of fairy floss, then digged her hand in. Then her mum came in through the door and said "I can explain!" Then her mum said, "did you buy that for the family?" "Yes, I think so." "Thanks".

The Surprised Place
Hi, I am Emerald. My mum said that she will take me to a surprise place. She said that I have never been to this place before. I just need to finish my gymnastics class, then I'll go to the surprise place with mum. "Present!" We are now finished.
In The Car
Yay! Mum is at the surprise place! The place is at Carindale. It is called 'Fun House'! It sounds fun, we have to buy the tokens to play the games. I got 9999999999999999999990 tokens! I spent it on a really expensive toy in the shop. It is the cutest teddy bear in the whole wide world!

The Growing Apple
Once, there was a girl named suzy, and she was a fan of apples. But one day there wasn't any more apples in the house, so they decided to go to the shop to get some more. She got big apples and long apples, but her favourite apple was the smallest apple, so she got that too. Then they brought the apples to the car and as she got in, she saw that the apple was bigger than it was in the shop. The apple grew and grew until it was a big apple, then it turned gigantic, so when we got home, we stuck it in the garden. Then we called the shop, and they said they'd be right over. When they came over, they said that there might be a problem with the machine, so they checked and found nothing wrong. So they had a picnic with apples, apple pie, apple juice, apple crumble, apple and custard, and raw cut up apple. The picnic was delicious and since the apple was bigger than their house, they had lots of leftovers.

Karate Kid
I guys, as you know, I am karate kid. I can't tell you my actual name because you are strangers.
If I tell you guys how I became a karate kid, will you strangers do anything bad to me? Good. So it started off like this...
I was once a normal boy like you, then KABLAM! I turned into a karate kid. Oh fine, I'll tell you the truth.
My mother and father asked me "Do you want to be a karate kid?"My answer was yes. "How do I become a karate kid?" "You just need to keep trying and practicing." So then my mum and dad sent me to the best karate school in the world. Everyday I kept learning and learning and learning and learning and learning and learning and learning until I became and expert.
Did you guys know that you can be a expert karate kid too? Let's all be a karate kid! HEYAAAAH!!!!

Chapter 1
AHHHHH! You won't believe it. Listen to this! At school Retricity aand Landood wrecked my life! They are trying to break me up with Zach! But luckily their plan didn't work. They kept annoying me and after when they left someone tapped me on the shoulder, I thought it was those irritating girls so I said "if you don't go away I will tell on you", I then heard a voice behind me sounding like Zach and he had a hurt look on his face then turned and walked away. That one was mostly my fault.
The secound thing that made him break up with me was my little annoying brother Ashtington. He posted a letter that said 'I HATE YOU LET'S BREAK UP'. He isn't even grounded from mum! Luckily my 2 friends Stroot and Swirl came to my rescue. (All they did really, was tell my parents what happened, told my little brother off and hug me). They truely are the bestest friends ever, aren't they?
To say thank you to them, I decided to make them a cake. I then left to go to the toilet, but then Ashtington sneaked in some glass into the cake and covered it up. When I was finished in the bathroom, I called my friends over and they ate the cake. I went upstairs to get the cards I made for them but when I went back downstairs, I saw my friends running out and driving home. It was the worst. I went in bed and started crying!
Chapter 2
I'm still upset about yesterday, but I'm going to ask my friends why they ran out of my house. When I arrived at school, I waited at their locker for them. They took ages but finally came. They walked up to me with a disgusted face then pushed on past. They only looked back once to roll their eyes at me. How strange!!
I lunch time, I wanted to have a little chat with them but they just ignored me and went to sit with Retricity and Landood and their group. Before we went to class I saw them talk to Zach, and I know it was about me. It was going to be my birthday soon and I hope they don't wreck it! I still invited them though.
THE NEXT DAY: I only have two days until my birthday! I texted my friends but they just wrote back 'busy'. At school I had no friends, I just felt lonely and discouraged. I then started to feel a bit sick so I went home early. I told my mum what had happened at school and she felt sorry for me. I lay in bed while my mum gave me cury for dinner and a cookie for desert. I fell asleep and drifted into dreamworld.
THE NEXT DAY: (1 more day until my birthday!) Today my friends have been stranger than ever! They even put a sign on my locker that said 'don't even think about talking to us'. That's rude! I walked up to Retricity and Landood to ask why Stroot and Swirl was acting strange, but hey shook their heads and poked out their toungues in my face. I then burst into tears. When Zach saw me crying, he came up to me and asked why I was upset. I explained everything and this is what Zach said, 'maybe they're trying to surprise you?' 'Doubt it'. *Ding-ding-ding* 'home time, see ya'.
The Chapter 3
(THE NEXT DAY)
I hope none of the people in the school treat me bad today. My friends might surprise me or something and Retricity and Landood will tease me like always. Zach might be normal though. I got ready to walk to school when... OH NO! I'm going to be late!
I quickly saw a bus and stopped it so I could quickly jump on. Phew. While I was in the bus, I saw my friends and they looked happy to see me. I asked them why they've been rude to me lately, and they respoded with "just wait and see".
When I was outiside the school gates, Zach covered my eyes and led me through. He was actually holding my hand! He then uncovered my eyes and let go of my hands. I couldn't see any surprise, but there was no one around. Then I heard something, Zac was whistling like a bird, then 'SURPRISE!' Everyone in the whole entire school screamed. Then everyone gave me a gift and a card, even the bullies! I then fainted.
When I woke up, I was crowded with everyone trying to help me up. But I chose Stroot and Swirl to help me stand up. The bell then went off for class time and everybody rushed away. In class when I had to chose a partner, everybody wanted to be with me, but I chose my friends. Does this happen to everyone on their birthday's?
